our Alza - in Poring Hotspring
let's stop complaining since the car is there..
the alza itself was a Sabah-born but Sarawak-registered Alza.some kind of hybrid considering the owners are also hybrid..=)
the first thing that we've been waiting is to feel how much worth this car is,for it's price tag of almost RM70k...
hmmm, once sit inside the drivers side,it feels like it was very spacious (indeed it is since it was a compact MPV).maybe also it's because of the driver's seat is connected to the front passenger seat as the automatic gear knob is placed on the dashboard..what a creative design from perodua...=)
the next thing is the comfortableness of the rest of the sitting positions.the first row and the second row is again quite spacious since it was a compact MPV.however,in the third row,it was a little bit crowded and it is not advisable for an adult to be sitted on the third row.maybe it is more suitable for small kids.
the alza seating can be individually fully folded for loading of huge or long stuff like pipes and so on.so,this is really an advantage to owning this car that really suited it MPV(multi purpose vehicle) class.
the spacious first row.
the Alza in Tawau.
the overall length - almost can't fit inside the car porch!
doing 100km/h not even reaching 3000rpm...
the engine is a 1.5L DOHC from toyota and daihatsu.so this is a very reliable engine as toyota and daihatsu is a reputable car-maker in the world.the sound of the engine is very minimal and it is very quite inside the cabin.you won't even notice if the engine is already started!
since the engine is that quite,so it must be a good quality engine.the fuel consumption of the car is rated at 20km/L for highway (Kota Kinabalu-Kuching-Kota Kinabalu) and 5km/L for city jam.these calculations is based on the LCD display of the dashboard meter..=) maybe in the future will come out for a more accurate fuel consumption...for comparisons, the journey from Kota Kinabalu-Kuching was around 1500km and it only "drink" RM150 (79L) worth of petrol.another comparison can be made is from Papar-Lahad Datu around 500km and only needed fuel RM50 (26L).quite impressive for an MPV..=)
all in all,the alza is worth for its price tag and as of now,it has clocked 11000km and there have been no major or even minor quality issues on the alza, except for the tyre punctured on both of its rear..hopefully,it will continue to perform at its best (maybe with some help of minor modifications)..=)

feel free to comment..=)
